The sport of diving requires amazing strength, power, control and co-ordination. Athletes require full-body strength and conditioning programs and spend hours in the gym every week preparing for dives that only take a split second in competition.

Australian 10m Platform Diver Laura Hingston demonstrates her top 5 exercises for the gym in this video.


Laura’s favourite exercises are;

  1. Split squat jumps
  2. Hanging pike-ups
  3. TRX hand stand walk outs
  4. High bench plate rotations
  5. Milkman arabesques
